After drawing and coloring all the parts in procreate, today was the first time printing and assembling the parts to see how they go together and note any changes along the way. I like how the flowers layer together and the cheerful colors.
Lessons from this version: I need a flat bottom on the teacup so it won’t tip over. Make the bee smaller. Come up with a way to arrange the flowers the same way each time. Prune a few long pieces back.
Assembling this one gave me the idea to do two more with a fall and winter theme. Next up is the drawing for the saucer that the cup will stand on.
