Sculpting Stanley’s doughnut using a round potter sponge as my armature. I cut a hole in the sponge and coated it with gesso, which did not stiffen it up much. So I just rolled out the Apoxie clay and formed it around the bottom half, letting it dry. Then, another slab to form the frosting layer. The result air dried into a hard doughnut. Now I’m craving a doughnut with coffee!
