Bird for panda

I began sculpting the little bird that will perch on the panda’s nose. I built the armature out of foam balls, dowels, and eva foam. Added a two part epoxy clay, called Magic Sculpt, for a strong skin to protect this little sweetheart. I added wire for the long toes, but this proved difficult to sculpt over. Need a different approach.
