Just took a quick online course with Lisa Glanz ‘Using Procreate with Illustrator to Enhance Your Vector Drawings‘. In the class, I learned how to draw a character in Procreate, then Image Trace in Adobe Illustrator but preserve all the hand-drawn textures. Once the elements of the drawing are vectorized it can be scaled and colors edited easily. This a very handy trick I will be using quite a bit.
She even includes a handy reference sheet with Image Trace settings that ensure the grungy texture is preserved. Highly recommend her class, clipart, and Procreate brush packs!
