Using the three bowls, made by troweling concrete paper clay over half-sphere forms, I made a cute alien face. I started by tracing the smaller bowls onto the large bowl where I wanted the eyes. Then I cut the circles out with a craft knife and was able to recess the eye bowls into the head. Using a fresh batch of concrete paper clay, I filled in the seams and coated the inside of the eye sockets. I used two 3″ styrofoam balls coated with more concrete paper clay to make the pupils and set them aside to dry.
