EVA Foam Beak

EVA foam beak and masking tape hot glued to the bird face.
Coating the beak inside and out with concrete paper clay.
Adding eyelids and beak to the bird sculpture.

I cut a beak out of eva foam and used masking tape to form a beak. I coated the inside of the beak first since this would be hard to access after it was attached to the face. I used more wet clay to attach and blend it into the face and top feathers. I used a variety of metal pallet knives and water to smooth and sculpt the beak and eyelids.
