Often things don’t go as planed, this is when a lesson is learned. After working on my bird for an afternoon I pressed too hard and the legs broke. Heartbroken but determined I stepped away and resumed in the morning.
Clearly wood is not the way to go here, and the wire for the toes was very challenging to cover in clay. Reworking the sculpture I’m adding screws for the legs and EVA foam for the toes.
