This project started with no clear direction other than testing the concrete paper clay over various forms. Now I’m looking back at a creature that is telling me he needs a set of antennas. I often feel my pieces tell me what they want next, and it is my job as their humble creator to oblige their requests. The Antenna was made from 1/4-20 carriage bolts and 1″ styrofoam balls. Carefully inserting the bolt thru the foam ball, then I drilled two small holes in the head and secured nuts washers. This entire armature was coated in concrete paper clay and blended the transition to the head.
