Rebecca Ruggles conjures enchanting creatures that captivate and delight audiences of all ages with their whimsical charm. Her artistic approach blends playfulness with sophistication, showcased across a diverse array of mediums—from cardboard and epoxy clay to ceramic, acrylics, digital art, and printmaking.

After graduating from the University of Southern California in 2001, Rebecca initially delved into website development and graphic design. In 2007, she founded Download & Print, a platform specializing in print-at-home invitations and stationery. Transitioning her creativity further, in 2015 she introduced TubbyWubby, a beloved series of craft kits designed to teach children the art of sewing while crafting adorable animal companions. TubbyWubby quickly became the birthplace of Rebecca’s imaginative menagerie, featuring over 60 distinct animal kits, each brimming with its own tale and personality.

Currently, Rebecca is embarking on a new frontier—crafting large-scale sculptures that bring her imaginative creatures to life on a grand scale. Her debut piece, “Wish,” a monumental free-standing sculpture, premiered in June 2024 at the prestigious Morro Bay Arts Center.
