With the ear, placement marked, it was time to bulk out the basic shape of the ear. Using crumpled paper, I formed the rolled ear edge and held it in place with masking tape. Then, hot gluing strips of cardboard to make the rear ear dome. The entire ear was covered in masking tape, and a paper mache skin was applied on top. This entire assembly was hot glued to the bear head.
