Trust Your Practice

Lately, I’ve been feeling lost in my direction. I’m not sure what my next evolution is, but I continue to study and create each day. It would be comforting to have a clearer direction. A clear vision to latch onto and use to set a course.

I have lots of ideas, skills and wisdom to help me reach this new level. I’m eager to leap, but the other ledge is fuzzy.

Doubt and fear sneak into my emotions when the destination is not clear. Am I wasting my potential to hold back a wait? The blank canvas haunts me waiting for the first brush stroke. I feel so much better when I can see clear progress.

I trust the work and discipline. Honor my gifts each day. Show-up to create and share. Read to grow my understanding, write to process the knowledge, then share to contribute to others.

“You never know what’s around the corner. It could be everything. Or it could be nothing. You keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you’ve climbed a mountain.”
